Theo rolled his eyes towards Xera with his arms crossed. He couldn't believe that girl asking for "feed back" after free ride of their cart plus this is still morning and they still having breakfast.
Xera nodded, "Yes, i would help you guys to look for some information about the dissapearing people but in order to do that i need Lecht position to get in to Brown Palace".
Inside Liharty town there's a building called Brown palace where contain important things around the world of Renaitre, mother of information that's what it called.
"Don't be so high, there is no way we would do something like that, lady", Say Theo politely with cold tone.
"Beside, you do know about the punishment of abusing the power of Vlanre , no?"
Xera glaring to Theo unwaverly, "I don't care, i just want to get in the Brown Palace".
"What do you want in there?", ask Theo directly.
"None of your business", answer Xera.
"How could it's not our business if you ask us to?", reply Theo.
"You both, please calm down a moment", ask Lecht as he sit between Xera and Theo. "Thank you for your coorperation but i cannot let you get into there, Brown Palace is sacred place that contains historical things and it is being protected, beside i am really honored if you could lend us your help to gather information about the disapearance".
The girl silent at the moment, Theo cannot guess what's inside her head. Suspicious...is the first thing that pass through his mind. After minutes feel like forever the girl nodded and didn't show any more argument and Lecht smile with satisfied.
"i am waiting outside", as her said she already walked outside the inn.
Theo scratched his hair roughly, "are you sure about this? Really that girl is gettin my nerves".
Lecht smiled, "i don't know if my decision was right or not"
Theo looked onto Lecht with unbelievable eyes, "you...."
"I don't know, i feel that i cannot let her go away...i don't know", Lecht hidding his confusion as he smile. "Let's go".
After Lecht paid their bill, they walk around the city, Liharty city is really pretty. The city light that give warm yellowish radiant light their all road. People in the city is also friendly and kindly give them information about disappearences. People in Liharty seems a bit afraid it would happend in their city because the disappearence seems still not reach the Liharty yet.Time passing as the curtain of night went down they walked to the bit dark place that far from crowded to gather what they got.
"The city is really beautiful", Said Xera suddenly.
Lecht look at her, "Is this your first visit in Liharty?".
Lecht can see Xera face reddish a bit, "Well...yes, i never go out too far from the Tirano city the place we met before".
"Wow,that's pretty rare, glad you can came here, don't you?", Lecht ruffling Xera's hair and the girl just turned her face away to hide her red face.
"Ahemm...", Theo clear his throut also try to make room between their conversation. "So..we got nothing from this", Theo shruging.
"Yeah, i wonder what is the trigger of this event", think Lecht.
"Yes...wait...why i am not think of this, When and where the first trigger of this disappearences happend?", Said Theo as he hit his forehead.
"Now you say it", Lecht also snapped after Theo words.
"Did madam Valaria say anything about it?", Ask Xera.
Lecht shook his head, "I am afraid no".
Xera sighing, "With this little details how we could get more.....".
When Xera just want to finished her words, her caught up a man with a strange attitude walk thirty feet from their place. The man put his hands on the head and mumbling unhearable words
Xera pull Lecht sleeves, "Lecht...look over there". She point to the man.
Following Xera's finger direction Lecht can see the man walking and then sitting on the ground, "what is with him?.
"I will check on him, wait here", as Theo want to walk and Lecht hand stop him.
"No,let me check it, you wait here with Xera", reject Lecht as he walk toward the weird man.
What with this feeling?. Xera squeezing her right arm,feel anxious whenever Lecht took step the bad feeling she can't even describe it come up to surface. Theo see her anxious from her face, he put his hand on Xera's head.
"Don't worry, even Lecht looks like nobleman who can't do anything but he is stronger than me", said Theo calming Xera.
Xera focusing her eyes on Lecht, "i..it's not about..".
"GYAAAAAA, HELP M--EE!".
Suddenly the screaming echoing from the place of Lecht and that weird man. The man looks like having pain and he fall onto ground as he scratching his body until bleeding. Xera can see from her place that Lecht looks suprised and try to calm the man down but seems it is not work.
"Tch..! this is not good, wait here", Theo run toward Lecht fast to help him.
After few minutes the man stop screaming and sit like empty doll. Xera cannot hear what is the man saying but she is sure that man say something from his lips moving. Xera feels her heart beating fast. The heat of her body rising, she can feel her head is aching. Hurt..really hurt..her vision become blurry.
"are you okay? sir!".
Lecht voice feel distant. Before Xera lost all her consciousness, the last view she saw the man vanishing like ash and disappeared.
"What the..?!".
"Xera..!".

Along the way they looking for the information, Lecht could see Xera's eyes are brighter because of the city atmosphere. The girl looks happy and excited seeing the shops, street performance in the city. Even Liharty is city of information, Liharty isn't big town.
"Xera?", ask Lecht when Xera stopped her move.
The girl look on him with reddish cheeks, "Uhm...".
"Something wrong?", Lecht walk near her.
"I want to go to that fancy shop..", Xera's pointing a shop with ribbon on it's door and painted with pink on it's wooden wall like a candy house. "Is it okay if i stop by? You can go first and i will catch up".
Lecht chuckled, "Sure, do not worry about us, me and Theo will wait outside".
"You sure has weird taste, Xera", Theo chilling.
"That's up to me", Xera stick out her tongue to Theo. "Thanks, i will be back soon". She run towards the shop with happy face.
Theo exhales really deep while Lecht laughing. He never know that Xera is a girl that interesting in fancy thing since she really been serious the whole time when with them.
"This is why girl is troublesome", Theo cross his arm and lean his back on the bakery shop's wall next to fancy shop that Xera got in.
"Don't you like to tease lady,Theo? I thought you will tease Xera also", Laugh Lecht.
Theo fix his glassess, "Well, but this girl really turn my sarcastic joke down, so i lost my sense of humor". Theo smiled.
Xera walk out the fancy shop with her shopping, A small brown paper bag. "Sorry to make you wait".
"It's nothing", Smile Lecht. "So we are ready to go?".
"Yea, i think", Answer Theo.
"Wait!", Xera stopped their move.
Lecht and Theo looked at her, "Something missed?".
The girl getting out two flat silver earings from her paper bag, "This are my gratitude for you both". Xera put each earing on their palm hand. "This is like a piercing, the shop keeper said that the piercing is a trend now".
After gave it to them Xera turned around, "Come on, we got to move".
Lecht laughing while Theo is still surprised got the piercing. "She's a good person,right?', Lecht wearing the piercing on his right ear and tapping his hand on Theo back.
Theo chuckled, "well..who knows?".
At the moment Theo staring the piercing then wear it on his left ear. He don't know what if this girl is undangerous or it, but he cannot let his guard down, no...can't let the same event of the past reoccoured again. Yes..he swear never would happend again on that day.
The information they gather is far from goal. There are no important clue about the disappearences. All of the people say that the vanished one will scream and mumbling weird word. That's make dead end for their prospecting.

Suddenly a small hand pull out his sleeve, Xera's face a bit pale and she point to a man that stand not far from their place. The man seems really lost, he walk slowly with an empty eyes.
"I will check on him, you guys wait here", Theo want to take step Lecht stopped him.
"No, let me check it, you wait here with Xera", Lecht walk away from them.
Lecht sense Xera fear by her hand that shaking faintly when touched his sleeve so he decided to let Theo watch for her. After reach the weird man place, Lecht found he is scratching all over his body till bleeding also mumbling weird words.
"Sir? are you okay?", Lecht try to touch his arm but the man brushed Lecht hand.
"She will..come...she try to...reach the.surface..", with stumbled words the man try to speak.
"Calm down sir, who is she?", ask Lecht slowly.
Unable to continue his word the man fell his knee onto the ground and then screamed hysterically. The man keep scratching his body make Lecht troubled in stop him then Theo come to help but it is also didn't work. After that the man stopped his move and looking down to the ground with empty eyes like lost his soul. After few minutes of that silence, the man's body slowly disappeared like ash.
Theo is really surprised, "What the..?!".
Lecht try to hold the man rest body that not become ash yet until he heard someone collapsing sound from their behind.
"Xera!".
Lecht laughing while Theo is still surprised got the piercing. "She's a good person,right?', Lecht wearing the piercing on his right ear and tapping his hand on Theo back.
