Chapter 3. The Two Side Of The Moon

The sound of wind swirl in the town of Liharty. The curtain of night already fell, but people in Liharty still having activities.The town is crowded and fill with light of street lamps and candle. Lecht ,Xera and Theo arrived at the night. Lecht look to his left seat, Xera fell asleep beside him. That girl is looking so tired, yeah..the way to the Liharty is a bit rough.



"Theo,would you mind to rent some room in near Inn? I'll be waiting here because Xera is falling asleep",Asked Lecht.

"Sure Lecht,i'll be right back!",Agree Theo and run as fast as light.

Lecht is smilling, "Thanks".

After Theo leaving, Lecht feel one minute like forever in the cart because no one he can talk to. Only him with the coachman and Xera that is sleeping. Recalling conversation before, Lecht successed in introgated Xera, about what is she up to.

"Your brother?", Repeated Lecht.

Xera just nod, looks like she doesn't want to explain more further. "Okay,that's what i can tell, no more question please".

"But!", Looks like Lecht wanna to ask more when Theo cut down the conversation.

"Hold on Lecht, we must appreciate what lady says", Chuckled Theo. "By the way miss Xera, do you know about people that going dissapeared recently?".

"People dissapeared?, do they really dissapeared?, Asked Xera back.

Lecht astonished to that question Xera ask, "What do you mean by 'really dissapeared'?".

"Huh? i don't know,i just feel like that" , Answer Xera shortly and looking to outside from  the cart's window.

Lecht taking breath. What a weird girl, when Lecht ask more further about the people name, Xera didn't even know about them. So what is "They" that she mentioned before?

"Hnn..."

Is she awake? "Xera?", say Lecht touching her shoulder.

"......", Xera opened her eyes and look directly to Lecht's eyes. "....You again?".

"Huh? Again? what did you mean?", Lecht feel Xera completely become other person.

"You are the one who i saved from Minervha forest,didn't i?", Asked Xera and fix her sitting position. "And dragged a girl to your cart is really rude behaviour Lord Lecht Vlanre".

Lecht surprised to see Xera different behaviour, somehow this Xera is more cold and strict. "Yeah,i am, but...who are you?".

Xera's eyes stare at him, "What do you mean? I am Xera Aliceace".

Lecht shook his head, "No". "You are not Xera i just talked before, once more, 'Who Are You'?". Lecht tone become serious.

The girl sighing for a while, it's seems she doesn't want to tell more further, "i am Xera, but we are different person..you know, different personality in one body", Answer Xera.

Lecht now really shocked, it's just impossible to accept someone said they have other personality in one body, but he is also know Xera that sitting beside him now isn't lying, he can tell it from her unwavering eyes.
"Then where is the Xera i dragged here before?"

"She is falling asleep now, so i took over her body", say her shortly.

"Since when you are inside her?", ask Lecht.

"it was very long time ago..and would you please not asking me again? i am not intended to answer it", say Xera ended their conversation as Theo come to their cart.

"Yo", Theo wave hand. "I got the inn already, let's have some rest".

"Oh..okay", Reply Lecht. "you will stay with us too? I cannot let you go alone in this late night because i will stop you whatever you say".

"Yes, do not worry Lord Vlanre".

"Don't call me with "Lord", just Lecht", Lecht holding Xera hand when she step out from cart.

Xera show no expression and just nod to Lecht.

Lord? Think Theo in his mind. Theo's hearing their conversation from behind. That girl is completely different...the way she talk, and her eyes looks calmer than before
....Is she...

"Theo?"

The voice beside him jolted him from his reverie as Lecht tapping his shoulder. "Sorry, i was thinking a moment ago", smile Him.

"That's okay, by the way, Xera was already went to her room, so maybe it's a good idea for us to rest earlier", say Lecht as he lay on his bed.

"Hey..Lecht...don't get too close to that girl", say Theo.

With wide opened eyes Lecht looked at Theo, "Why?, i don't think she is a bad person."

"I don't believe in that girl, so stay on your guard".

"You took over my place?"

"Yes, when you were asleep"

"Did they suspecting something?"

"No, Lecht Vlanre still didn't suspect anything but i am doubt to his other friend Named Theo"

".........We should take our leave fast after investigating Brown Palace", end Xera as she close her eyes.
