Chapter 2. Differences

                    Vlanre dukedom, is the honorest and the biggest dukedom in Renaitre world.. Their wealth, skill of war, and everything  no one can match it. Vlanre is being led by Valaria Vlanre which is Lecht and Van mother.

"Stop that stupid naration Theo",Say Lecht with a little sigh.

A Man with dark brown hair laugh and fix his glasses position, " Why? You must be proud to be born in your family right?.

Lecht open a soda bottle and drink it, it's too early to be joked by his childfriend, Theo. Even though Theo's joke can make him laugh out but somehow not at this time, not after what Lecht heard from his mother last night.


"Vanishing?",Repeated Lecht.

Mistress Valaria nod a bit and then sip her tea, "On this month, it was already 20 persons that missing without news, some people called it "Vanishing".

"That's weird...how could this happend?" , Said Lecht.

Van exhales, he has no idea what is happening. People missing. Is it thief? Serial killer? No body knows it.
"Mom, is there any somekind of weird state before these these 20 people was missing?, Asked Van.

"Well...the victim's family said that the victim say something weird" , Answered Valaria and put her cup of tea on her desk.

"Something? What was that mom?, Asked Lecht with curious.

Valaria take papers on her desk, "They say...'She' is calling me and suddenly screaming and try to kill themselves or somekind like that" , Explain Valaria.

"So mom, do you want us to investigate it?, Say Van.

Valaria smile, " You are right, i want you and Lecht to do some investigate. I'm afraid if these keep happening people would be anxious and doubt each other.

"Lecht? Leeeecchhhtt!", Shout Theo infront of Lecht.

Lecht a bit surprised, " Ah... sorry Theo, i was thinking about something just before".

Theo raise his shoulder, "No problem Pal, as long as you still can hear me and respond me i think condition is normal", Chuckling him.

Lecht reply him with a smile. " Let's go to the Brown Palace, Theo", say Lecht and stand from place where he sat before.

"Anytime Pal", Smile Theo.

Brown Palace is a place where Lecht , his brother and his friends hang out. It is also the biggest place of culinary in Renaitre. The classical of the decoration make feel like in the castle, not just that but the baverages and the drink are the most delicious.

"So...what do you want to know? About the vanishing people recently?",Ask Theo.

"well yeah, anything about that,even little thing",say Lecht.

Theo eat his dessert, "Do you know about our world legend?".

" You mean about other world?", say Lecht.

"Yeah, about the dark side of Renaitre, some place that reflected the dark side of our world, where people are reflected as monster, where all nice thing in surface is nightmare in the 'Other World'", explain Theo.

Lecht stir his drink with a thought, "You don't want me to expect something like that right? I mean it's just a legend, what's the connection with our problem now?".

Theo raise his shoulder, "Well,the interesting point is that Vanishing ever happend 200 years ago".

Lecht surprised. 'Vanishing ever happend? 200 years ago? in Renaitre? But he never heard those story whole his life,there's nothing he didn't know about Renaitre history because he learned it.

"Don't overthink it Lecht, i'm also know it just a bit, i heard it from my grand father,but he didn't give more information about it", Convience Theo.

"Tell me more about it Theo", Asked Lecht.

"Same like what happen now, people were Vanished nowhere, it's seems like Vanishing that happend 200 years ago is being hidden", Explain Theo.

"I see...that's weird", Say Lecht. "Why don't we go to Liharty? A town with full books and record from ages? hope we can find some clue"

"Nice idea,then let's get going", Say Theo with a cheerful face. Theo really love books and History that's why he is really exicted.

"Wait me at lobby, i need to pay our food first", Tell Lecht.

"Okay,see you there", Walk Theo to the lobby.

After paid his bill Lecht walk to the stairs to catch up with Theo, and then he see a girl with orange haired pass. Without think Lecht chase that girl and hold her arm.

"Wait!"

The girl stop her movement, because Lecht hold her Arm. She doesn't want to look Lecht and try to hide her face.

"Are you Xera?", Asked Lecht while still hold her arm.

That girl didn't want to make a voice, Lecht try to look her face and....He is right, That girl is Xera, the one who helped him in the Minervha Forest.

"Let me go", Say Xera.

Lecht feel that Xera want to avoid him. "No until i give my thanks to you".

"No need, it was just coincidence", Avoid Xera.

"You come with me and don't afraid with me. i'm not a monster who eat human", drag Lecht.

"i'm not afraid with you, just let me go", Rebell Xera.

Lecht ignored all Xera complaint to him and keep drag her to lobby. She is looks different, more talkactive and she has braid on the right side, Lecht still remember that Xera he met before has braid on the left.
When Theo seeing Lecht dragging a girl, he feel funny because it's rare to see Lecht being rock headed to a girl.

"I don't want to follow you", Say Xera with pouting face.

"Then join us", Say Lecht.

"It's same!", Said Xera.

"Different Alphabet and spelling", Ignored Lecht and keep dragging Xera to his horse ride.

"Just surrender miss, you can't win this prince", Laugh Theo.

Xera feel annoyed about Lecht, but she can't do anything. And yet, she has no clue to search her brother.
From what Lecht tell her,that they are going to Liharty. A Town of information. Maybe she can find something in there.
